I have been thinking about how since starting to mainly stream music that I rarely listen to albums anymore. Listening to an album sounded like a nice choice this morning. While it's fun creating playlists and asking Alexa to play what comes to mind, this morning it seemed nice to play an album instead.
In the car, flipping through the radio presets, Paul McCartney and Wings' songs came on a few times over the last week. Having enjoyed those songs, the 1975 Venus and Mars album by Paul McCartney and Wings became first on this morning's playlist. With familiar albums, I tend to ask Alexa to shuffle the songs. This morning I'm capturing the seventies vibe of playing a vinyl album side to side, from start to finish, without lifting the needle until after the last song on that side has played.
