The smell of smoke is heavy in the air this morning from the San Bernardino fire. As I started out to work this morning, it was still dark and the car's headlights illuminated the ash in the air. On the brighter side, it made a beautiful orange sunrise.
I was in LA years ago during the LA riots when fires dotted the city and smoke filled the air. My friend, Vicky, lived in the hills of Silver Lake, at the time, and captured some amazingly beautiful photos. It seemed ironic that something so horrible created such beauty.
Local friends, consider staying inside or wearing masks.
Wishing you peace, love, and joy.
